Some Questions Frequently Asked by our new Customers
What type of tapes can you edit?
We can cope with most common formats - for example Mini DV, VHS, Hi-8. Tell us what type of tape you have when you call, so we can ensure availability of the correct equipment. We can also use your footage that you've already saved to DVDs.
My filming is shaky - can you still produce something worth watching from it?
Don't worry. We can create something using your footage that will be more than worth watching. Remember ... you may not be a professional camera operator but we are professional editors.
How long will it take if I simply want my tape(s) to be transferred on to DVD with no editing involved?
A straight transfer can normally be turned around in 24 hours or less unless we are very busy. It's best to give us a call beforehand to check.
How long will it take to create a DVD from my one hour tape using the Movie Edit option?
This can normally be completed in 5 - 10 days unless it is a very busy period. Again, we will discuss this when you contact us.
I am giving my grandmother the DVD as a birthday present. Can it be produced in a style that she will enjoy as she is quite a traditional person?
Each DVD is tailored to suit the client. Whether you want a contemporary or a more nostalgic, traditional feel it is not a problem, and we will ask you about this when you contact us.
I'd like to give each of my children copies of all of our DVDs that you are editing. Is that possible?
Yes we can create as many copies as you like.
What are 'start up menu' and 'chapters'?
It is exactly what you'd find at the beginning of a DVD movie, ie the index or contents page which lets you navigate your way through the film enabling you to go straight to the scene you want to watch by using your remote control.
